Porter Bee Escapes
Porter bee escapes are the most popular escape choice for use by beekeepers.
This plastic variety slides apart easily to allow cleaning and spring adjustment.
The escape fits into the crown board to allow the bees to escape, and help to clear the bees from the supers.
The crown board is placed below the supers (between them and the brood box),
after several days the bees come down through the supers and through the escape into the brood.
They then cannot return to the supers.
