DN2 Frames
DN stands for Deep National.
The frames are designed to fit the brood box of the National style hive (8" 7/8' inches or 22.54cm deep).
These frames require frame spacers or castellated runners.
DN1's and DN2's are the same apart from that DN2’s have a stronger and wider top bar.
DN2 frames also fit other hive types like the WBC, but differing hive types may accomodate varying numbers of frames.
It is very often only the internal measurements of the brood or supers that vary. Always check before ordering.
