BS Shallow Wax Foundation (Unwired)
BS unwired shallow foundation is to fit National shallow super frames, the SN1, SN2 and SN4 frames.
This foundation is unwired to allow the beekeeper to obtain cut comb, and is made from high quality, freshly milled wax.
The comb, full of honey, can be cut directly out of the frame whilst still sealed by the wax.
Cut comb is very popular and is believed to yield greater health benefits as it contains everything from the bee, including the wax.
After careful checks, the wax is packed and sealed in polythene to help retain the delicate aroma and to keep it fresh.
Just as the bees like it.
