As far as constipation is concerned, honey is apparently, a popular laxative and eating significant quantities of natural sugars such as honey, brings more water into the intestines and ultimately alleviates constipation.
The best way to start is by having a tablespoon of honey three times a day, or simply add to your current foods and drinks.
In this particular case, licorice is far more potent than honey and hence we recommend combining them both for optimal relief.
