Jenter Kit
This is a clever and very successful system to breed Queen bees without having to graft larvae from cells.
The comb box is fitted into a used brood frame and foundation. The queen, when in full-laying condition, is placed
into the comb box for 24 hours to lay in the artificial cell cups within the brood box.
Having laid she is manually returned to the brood.
After a few days you can see the newly-hatched larvae in royal jelly in the cell cups,
remove them and fit into the cell cup holder and place into a queenless colony.
Before the virgin queens emerge put roller cages over each queen to protect the others.
You will then rear multiple queens within just a couple of weeks.
A perfect way to breed queens and as many as you wish!
Each kit comes complete with 1 comb box, 10 hair rollercages and plugs, 115 brown cell cups, 115 cell cup holders, 1 cell transfer tool and 40 ribbed cell carriers.
